About the Founder
About the Founder
Rob Feldmeyer, founder of 10X Precision, brings over two decades of elite military, competitive, and instructional experience to the firearms training community. He established 10X Precision out of a lifelong passion for competitive shooting and a commitment to teaching others the skills, discipline, and mindset needed to shoot with confidence and precision—along with the right tools to make it happen.Â
Rob is a decorated U.S. Navy veteran with 24 years of honorable service, during which he served in Afghanistan and other special theaters of operation. His professional experience was shaped on a global stage, where he not only operated in high-stakes environments but also trained hundreds of servicemembers for combat operations around the world.
His journey in competitive shooting began in 1998 when he joined the USS Nimitz shooting team, eventually becoming team captain, and sparking a lifelong dedication to the sport. Rob went on to compete in High-Power Rifle and Bullseye Pistol, and earning a place on the U.S. Navy Marksmanship Team. In 2007, he was awarded the CMP Distinguished Service Pistol Badge, one of the most prestigious honors in competitive shooting. That same year, he became a Military Small Arms Marksmanship Instructor and certified NRA Shotgun and Pistol Instructor. By 2012, he expanded his role further as a Crew Served Weapons Instructor.
Today, Rob’s marksmanship legacy continues to grow. At the 2024 Western CMP Games, CMP Pistol Matches, and CMP Cup Matches, he made national headlines by setting three new pistol event records, further cementing his place among the top shooters in the country.
In addition to his firearms expertise, Rob is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and holds a Master’s degree in Emergency and Disaster Management—qualifications that uniquely position him to teach personal protection inside and outside the home with a broader understanding of risk, readiness, and safety.
