Do I need experience for the Basic Pistol Course? 

NRA Basic Pistol is built for beginners. You’ll learn safe handling, ammo basics, range etiquette, fundamentals, live-fire drills, and how to clean your firearm—step by step. 

What are the 3 Rules I NEED to know for SAFE gun handling?

ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction (downrange at your target when on the firing line with 10X Precision).

ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.

ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use (ammunition is never allowed while in the classrooms, keep it in your vehicle until we head to the range).

Which Caliber is the best for beginners?

Starting calibers: .22 LR (super forgiving for fundamentals) or 9mm (widely available, manageable recoil).
